LC1101 adapter supports Profinet communication bus. The I/O module can be divided into digital input and output modules, analog input and output modules, as well as functional modules. It can be configured according to the actual needs of the site. A maximum of 32 chip modules can be expanded, excluding the power module.

    1.Software Configuration Description:
    The LC1101 is configured by default with a virtual alarm module to display error information for the 10 modules in the topology. According to the actual topology sequence of the modules, LC1488-LC1488-LC2488-LC2488, double-click each module in the daily log to see the added modules in the slots. After completing the module configuration, power the PLC, compile the project, and download it to the PLC. Once the download is successful, power on the slave device LC1101. When the PLC successfully establishes a communication link with LC1101, the RUN light on LC1101 will remain on, the Link light will blink, and the ERR, Led1, and Led2 lights will be off.
    2.Error or data loss occurred
    If there is an error or data loss in the IO modules connected to the back of the slave device LC1101, the ERR light will remain on, and the error information will be displayed in the Alarm module. For example, if the fourth I/O module encounters an error or data loss, the high 8 bits of the data will be 0x01 as the error flag, and the low 8 bits will be 0x04 indicating that the fourth module has an error. Similarly, if the third module has an error, the input data for the Alarm will be W#16#0301; if the second module has an error, the input data will be W#16#0201; and if the first module has an error, the input data will be W#16#0101.
    3.Examples of Different Functional Module Applications: 
    The topology structure is LC1101 + LC3162. After compiling, downloading, and running the PLC, insert the variable table and assign the input and output addresses configured in the hardware setup to operate the LC3162 module. First, the input data at address “IW 0” consists of 2 bytes of alarm information, which will not be elaborated here. The output data at address “QW 0” consists of 2 bytes of command data sent from the master station to LC3162, with the default value of 0x0000 representing the sampling command, which the user does not need to operate. The input data at address “W 2” consists of 2 bytes of status data from LC3162. Due to software display reasons, the low address comes first followed by the high address. The status data of LC3162 is 0x0100, indicating that LC3162 is operating in sampling mode. The data for the first channel is 0x112C, and the data for the second channel is 0x132C.
