LC1105 IO Module Coupler Of EtherNet/IP

The LC1105 allows for the configuration of one EtherNet/IP adapter, along with one to three I/O modules and terminal devices for each node, significantly optimizing system resources. Each adapter is constructed with an end plate and can support up to 512 I/O points, catering to the demands of large-scale industrial applications. The communication interface of the adapter adheres to the EtherNet/IP communication standard, supporting mainstream EtherNet/IP master PLCs from leading manufacturers such as Keenz, Omron, and Schneider. This ensures the system’s broad applicability across various industrial environments.

    Product Overview

The distributed remote IO system consists of a network adapter module and an expansion IO module, aiming to achieve efficient field data acquisition and control. The main responsibility of the network adapter module is to handle field bus communications and establish a stable connection with the master controller. Users can select the appropriate bus module according to specific application requirements to ensure smooth communication with the control system. At present, widely used industrial communication protocols include EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profibus DP, Modbus/TCP, etc. These protocols provide guarantees for the interoperability of the system.
The expansion IO module is responsible for connecting the input and output sensors on site, and can effectively collect various signals on site. These signals are transmitted to the network adapter through the internal bus. The controller reads the data from the adapter and performs necessary processing, and then outputs the processed data to the network adapter. The network adapter then passes these output data to the output IO module to achieve precise control of the device through the internal bus. There are many types of expansion IO modules, which are mainly divided into nine categories, including digital input modules, digital output modules, digital input and output mixed modules, analog input modules, analog output modules, temperature input modules, pressure sensor input modules, pulse counting modules and auxiliary modules, etc., which can meet the needs of different application scenarios.
The flexible combination of network adapters and expansion IO modules enables users to customize according to the specific requirements of the site, thereby meeting functional requirements while reducing the cost of the overall system.
